Maybe this sounds familiar…

You’re the one everyone depends on.

You keep things going. You show up. You take care of the small details. You are trying your best to be a good partner, mom, daughter, friend, and professional.

You feel anxious or overwhelmed more than you would like to admit. You can’t stop thinking about what needs to happen next and you’re wondering where the person you were before motherhood went. Literally and figuratively.

From the outside, everything looks fine.

Inside, you’re drowning and wondering how you will get through the next day, or even hour.

You spend so much time taking care of everyone else, what would it feel like to take care of you?

You don’t have to navigate it all alone. You deserve support too.

My Background

I earned my master's degree in clinical mental health counseling in 2019 and my doctorate in counselor education and supervision from Mount Mary University in 2024. I have completed specialized training in perinatal mental health, which informs my work supporting women through the emotional experiences and transitions surrounding pregnancy, postpartum, and motherhood. I am also an assistant professor in the counseling department at Mount Mary University. In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my husband and three kids, baking, reading, and watching reality tv when I need a moment to decompress.

Hi, I’m Claire.

I believe therapy should be a space where you don’t have to perform.

You don’t have to show up with everything figured out and you don’t have to know exactly what’s wrong.

My goal is to create a. warm, supportive space where you can slow down, get to know yourself (or the new version of you) and develop tools that actually work for you and your life.

My Approach to Therapy

I believe therapy begins with a relationship built on trust, empathy, and acceptance. My goal is to create a space where you feel safe showing up as you are, without judgment or the pressures you may feel outside of therapy.

I see you as the expert on your own life and believe meaningful change happens through collaboration. Together, we'll explore your experiences, deepen your understanding of yourself, and identify what you need to feel more grounded and connected to who you are. My approach integrates space for processing and self-discovery with practical tools and skills you can use to navigate everyday stressors and life's challenges. Whether you're working through anxiety, navigating the transitions of motherhood, or finding your footing in a new season of life, my hope is that therapy helps you feel more supported, empowered, and equipped to make lasting changes.
